As one of our core values is "Transparency", it is mandatory for everyone to post an update in the weekly Gameplan post for the past week.
Why?
These daily updates helps everyone (specially the leadership team) to stay updated of what the other team mates are upto. They can also act as a signal if something is not right: blocker, performance issues, etc. When you take a few minutes to reflect on your day or a week, you also get some clarity on how you are spending your time and how you could improve.
How?
It doesn't have to be that detailed. You can just write the highlights from each project that you're working upon. That could be learning, working on a client project, writing a blog (highly encouraged), or maybe taking it slow by doing chores. You can use a bullet-list format too.
When?
Before every All Hands meet. Every Saturday, Donna will create a weekly Gameplan post. Just add a comment to the same post!
Even if you're not available in any All Hands meet, the team will still get the idea about your entire week.
